Many subdivisions and commercial businesses ask to have their entries and entry signs lighted. In particular, lighting a new subdivision entry can be a very effective way of heralding and marketing the new development. Rather than simply uplighting a subdivison or commercial entity’s entry sign, we like to incorporate hardscaping features, such as entry walls and columns, along with select plant materials used in the entry’s landscaping. Often using different types of fixtures and lamps (or bulbs) of varying intensities and beam spreads, we create dramatic contrasts of shadow and light which add to the allure of the residential development or commercial business.
